The Leadership Exchange: Accelerating Impact Through Partnerships

Back to All Events

Join us this semester for our virtual speaker series featuring exciting and innovative nonprofit and social impact leaders. Speakers will share their diverse perspectives on a range of nonprofit, philanthropic and civic sector challenges and important leadership lessons. Next in our speaker series is Dori Kreiger, who will chat with us about changemaking through wireless innovations, engaging philanthropic partnerships, donor-advised funds, and her leadership journey (among many other topics!).

Dori is the executive director of CTIA Wireless Foundation, which advances positive social impact fueled by innovative wireless technology in American communities. An engagement strategist specializing at the intersection of nonprofit and business sectors, Dori has more than 20 years of wide-ranging philanthropic experience.

Prior to CTIA Wireless Foundation, Dori led The Pew Charitable Trusts’ donor-advised fund program and outreach to philanthropists and the greater philanthropic ecosystem. Before that, Dori was the director of client experience for Foundation Source, working with entrepreneurial funders who employ private foundations for charitable giving. She created and hosted Forward Thinking, a podcast series exploring the future of philanthropy, and has given countless presentations on trends in family philanthropy and funder networks.

Dori also served as the director of partnership development for Exponent Philanthropy (formerly the Association of Small Foundations), and for six years she held leadership roles at Council on Foundations, as the Director of Community Foundation Services and then as Managing Director of Family Philanthropy Services. She began her philanthropic career at The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia. She has served on the boards of several nonprofits and was an inaugural class member of the Southeastern Council of Foundation’s Hull Fellows Program.
