Students at the University of Maryland will complete a milestone achievement this May as they prepare to walk across the field and graduate. Adorning their caps and gowns, a select group of current innovators and difference makers are being awarded with a Do Good medallion for their efforts and impacts on driving positive change in their communities.
Each recipient engaged deeply with the Do Good Institute, whether by pitching a social or environmental venture in the Do Good Challenge, advancing projects as an Accelerator Fellow, participating in Changemaker Pathways, interning with local nonprofits, leading a Mini-Grant project or completing the Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
The Do Good Medallion reflects sustained effort and meaningful impact. These students have applied their education with intention, demonstrating how ideas can translate into action that extends well beyond their time at the University of Maryland.
