Students Create Meaningful Change Through Spring 2026 Impact Bootcamp

9 Students Standing up All together, holding their Impact Bootcamp Certificates

The Do Good Institute’s Impact Bootcamp continues to support aspiring innovators at the University of Maryland, guiding students through a six-week journey to refine and launch their social impact projects. This semester’s cohort brought innovative solutions spanning health equity, education, sustainability and community wellness, all driven by students’ dedication to creating meaningful impact. Their stories highlight the creativity, commitment and impact-driven focus that the program was designed to foster.

As we celebrate the fourth cohort of this program, it’s exciting to see students continue turning their ideas into meaningful action and preparing to take the next step by pitching their ventures. Each year, we’ve watched participants grow into future fellows, grant awardees, and campus changemakers, and this cohort is already showing that same passion, creativity, and potential to make a lasting impact.

MathArtPlay is a creative collaboration at the intersection of mathematics, art, and education. Our team of mathematicians, artists, and technologists believes learning should be hands-on, beautiful, and meaningful.

Math and art belong together. At MathArtPlay, we design workshops, tools, and experiences where geometry, patterns, puzzles, and design become playful gateways to discovery. Through making and exploring, students and educators see that math can be beautiful and art can be powerful—opening doors to curiosity, confidence, and deeper understanding across STEM/STEAM learning.
