We launched another semester of our ChangeMaker Pathways program this spring with a cohort of 44 students. In this six-week experiential program primarily for first-year, second-year, or transfer students, ChangeMakers explored ways that they can Do Good in their personal, professional, or educational life through interactive and discussion-based workshops.
I'm absolutely thrilled for the second cohort of ChangeMakers, especially with such a wonderfully diverse and intelligent group onboard. Their collective passion and brilliance are bound to ignite powerful transformations.Tyrese Fenty Program Coordinator
Over the first three weeks, ChangeMakers fostered a sense of community while thinking about their identity as it related to change-making and social impact topics they would be interested in working on in their futures.
On Friday March 29, ChangeMakers participated in community service at the Campus Arboretum.
Changemakers also participated in a service project at Lake Artemesia on Saturday March 30.
ChangeMakers engaged with an impressive panel of current students involved in social impact work across campus, ranging from past and present Mini-Grant recipients, Impact Interns, Do Good Accelerator Fellows and Do Good Challenge participants.
The program wrapped up on April 9 with a celebration of the ChangeMakers’ hard work and completion of the experience.
